I have recently had Joint Screening with Spectrum Health which is covered by my VHI Healthcare package. Alessandro was very thorough with this screening and subsequent to that I had three half hour sessions with him to help my stiff joints mobility. When I started physiotherapy, I was in a very bad shape, primarily because of my job as software developer and my less than ideal lifestyle. I was barely able to make a semi neck turn left or right, I was feeling nervous system pain, manifesting by pressure and choking on the throat and the jaw/cheeks, and multiple headaches/migraines as a result of what I assume was tense muscles in my neck and back area.

As I understood, it was muscles in the lower back, shoulders and neck that were causing all this trouble.

Since I have tried physiotherapy for this particular issue 2 years ago, I really believed it would work and this is where Pauline came in:

The treatment was initially and for the most part painless, but it was clear at the very later stages that being tender won't simply do it, and this is where Pauline was able to ramp it up fast and providing me relief that could be felt instantly. The treatment took 7 sessions, and I was able to notice visit after visit that my neck was improving and I was able to make an easier more complete neck turn both ways.

It is worth it to note that Pauline not only does the required massage but would also recommend specific exercises to allow the treatment to persist, regain muscle power (the muscles that needed therapy basically were weak) and subsequently keep them in shape after treatment, so I wouldn't need another treatment for a long time, guessing as much as I stick to the exercises and improving my lifestyle.

When I left, and for several months thereafter, the symptoms that led me to require physiotherapy were gone, I no longer have nervous pain nor headaches on a near daily basis and I could turn my neck with no restrictions or pain.

Pauline is a very professional, kind and respectful person and is very recommended.
